Craving calm? try this!
Have you been craving more peace of mind lately?
Wanting to feel a sense of serenity in your mind and spirit.
Perhaps even wanting to feel a sense of renewed purpose after a year of the uncertain and unexpected.
I get it. I've felt like that too.
What a journey this year has been.
What extraordinary resilience it has required to navigate the ups, the downs, the losses and heartbreaks.
All without our usual go tos for innate human connection being as available.
Did you know that one of the top scientifically proven tools for completing the stress cycle is a 20 second hug.
Sounds kind of woo woo, but it's actually true.
Research has shown that a 20 second hug can change your hormones, improve your mood, and increase the social bonding hormone oxytocin in your body. (Grewen, Andersen et al.)
So how do you create more peace of mind and serenity when some of the most useful tools for completing the stress cycle and avoiding burnout are no longer available?
How do you tap into a renewed sense of purpose as things continue to shift and change?
For me, it's all about clearing out all of the gunk and debris from my energy field that doesn't belong to me or is no longer useful so that I can feel a deeper sense of calm and a renewed sense of purpose.
Kind of like clearing out the daily grit and grime from life that builds up and needs a deep clean once and a while. (Ya know what I'm talking about?)
So today I've got a special treat for you.
It's the guided meditation that I use once a week to clear out the gunk and debris and create more peace, serenity and sense of space within my own being.
